Lauren Torres Funiestas is a 2nd Gen Ilokano American single mother, writer, psychotherapist and spiritual life coach based in the Bay Area, CA. During the day she serves as a clinical supervisor for an all-Asian women lead organization that provides community and mental health services for bilingual and monolingual immigrant communities in San Francisco. Her specialization is in guiding graduate level interns studying to be therapists and supporting survivors of domestic/intimate partner violence/sexual assault reclaim their sense of safety and sovereignty.
At night and on weekends, Lauren serves as a shadow worker - helping people integrate their light and dark sides through journeying and psychoeducation. This summer she is running her first virtual group coaching program this summer for BIWOC women who want to achieve personal and spiritual transformation by connecting with their internal wisdom.
